Apply for the Current YEAR 2017-2018

2017-2018 Open Enrollment Application Announcement

North Davis Preparatory Academy’s (NDPA) Open Enrollment (OE) period for the 2017-2018 school year will begin January 1, 2017 through January 31, 2017. The first lottery will be held in February. Any openings that become available after the first pull will be filled as-needed throughout the year, using a computerized lottery process.

Families will be notified via email of their child’s acceptance into the school through the computerized lottery program. Families selected will be notified of the next steps in the registration process and what timeline they will need to follow.

If you applied for the 2016-2017 school year and your child has not been selected, you will need to re-apply for the 2017-2018 school year. Applications are not rolled-over to the next school year. Preferences for employees, board members, or siblings of current students will be in accordance with our charter application and state and federal laws. Every effort will be made to accept all siblings within an individual family, but this may not be possible due to capacity on class sizes.

Students currently attending NDPA will be asked to “recommit” each year by completing an Annual Policies Acknowledgment.

The Office for Civil Rights (OCR) enforces four federal statutes that prohibit discrimination in programs and activities that receive federal financial assistance from the Department of Education (ED). NDPA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, or age. This institution is an equal opportunity provider and employer, read our USDA Non-Discrimination Statement for more information.

If you have any questions regarding Open Enrollment, please contact Karyn Baker at 801-547-1809.

North Davis Preparatory Academy is a state charter school with the number of applicants exceeding the number of openings. We handle this by accepting students via a lottery system. When a student is selected from the lottery pool, his or her siblings are given preference to other applicants; they are placed on a special sibling waiting list until openings are available.
