Mrs. Hansen has a double major in both Elementary and Early Childhood Education. She is a graduate of Brigham Young University and is currently working on her Masters degree in Education from Utah Sate University. She has been a Kindergarten instructor for over 12 years. She has taught in both the USA and Canada.

Mrs. Hansen was born and raised in Eastern Canada. She is the oldest of three girls. She is the mother of 6 children and the grandmother of 2 grandsons. She and her husband Randy enjoy spending time together, with their children and grandchildren.

Among her many interests, Mrs. Hansen enjoys travel, the outdoors; including sailing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding and snowmobiling to mention a few. She loves to write children’s stories.
