7th-9th SWIM PARTY - TONIGHT, Friday, September 28, from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Layton Surf 'n' Swim. Cost is $4.50 per person.

NDPA L.E.O. (LET'S EAT OUT) - NDPA Families! The next LEO Night will be held on October 1, 5:30-7:30 PM @ the Layton Chick-fil-A. This is such a fun venue for our LEO Nights. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors!

FUNDRAISING AUCTION FUN - Mark your calendars, the 14th Annual FUNdraising Auction is scheduled for April 26, 2019. But you have the opportunity to begin the FUN now! POET will be auctioning TWO ROUND-TRIP AIRLINE TICKETS to anywhere that Jet Blue Flies! This is a great way to travel for the Holidays or Spring Break and benefit the school. The auction will be held on the North Davis Preparatory Facebook Page (, beginning October 2, concluding October 3, at 8:00 PM. Join the Facebook page now and invite your friends, we want everyone to have the opportunity to bid and to learn about our FUNDraising Auction.

BOYS BASKETBALL TRYOUTS will be held in the Jr. High gym on FRIDAY, September 28 from 4:00-5:30 PM, and SATURDAY, September 29 from 1:00-2:30 PM. Competition is fierce, so Coach Noal has stated that athletes need to be there BOTH days or they will not be considered for the team.

POET FALL CELEBRATION @ BLACK ISLAND FARMS - Thursday, October 11, 4:30-10:00 PM. Come support our school, hang out with other NDPA families, and have some Fall Celebration fun!

  • Tickets are $5 for maze and courtyard, $8 for maze, courtyard, hayride, and pumpkin; everyone must purchase a ticket to enter.
  • There will be a performance by the NDPA Spirit Squad at 5:00 PM.
  • A magician will perform at 7:00 PM.
  • POET will also have a raffle drawing.

K-6 STEM - We’re back! Come join us after school for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) activities in the Elementary. Activities will include building and launching rockets, an interactive chemistry activity provided by DoTerra Oils, designing and making circuits, and many more hands-on projects. Each week will be filled with activities that are active, interesting, and relevant to students.

-Who can come: All students K-6
-Cost: $40 for 6 weeks, Cash or check only, make checks payable to POET
-Dates: Thursdays… October 25, November 1, 8, 15, 29, and December 6
- - Skip November 22nd for Thanksgiving.
-Time: 3:00-4:00 PM
-Place: NDPA Elementary Library, Gym, and Mrs. Gibson’s classroom
-Classes limited to the first 24 students who sign-up for each grade level group.

DOLLAR DRESS DAYS - Parents, please be aware that Dollar Dress Day is the FIRST FRIDAY of each month. The exception to this is if we are out of school on the first Friday, then Dollar Dress Day is moved to the following Friday. FREE Dress Days are usually in conjunction with Lion Pride Week, Spirit Week, and the first day back after Winter Break. If you are ever unsure, please contact the office to verify before sending your student in non-uniform clothing.

  • - If you would like to donate for all your student's Dollar Dress Days in advance, you can pay for the rest of the year on the website or in the office for only $8!

SCHOOL LAND TRUST COMMITTEE - Parents are invited to join the NDPA School Land Trust committee. Interested parties should contact Mr. Robinson, AND copy Jean Britton, by Friday, October 5, 2018.
