SHOW YOUR LOVE FOR ART WEEK – NDPA’s 13th Annual Art Auction, Celebration of Literature through Art, is coming up in April!! We are kicking off this event by holding our annual ‘Show Your Love for Art’ event February 12th-15th.

What is ‘Show Your Love for Art’?

POET Board members take pride in the fact that our school does only ONE main fundraiser… the POET Art Auction. During the year, NDPA students help to create wonderful art projects that are auctioned off to raise money for the school. We like to provide lots of different opportunities for families to be able to contribute to this event, such as attending the Art Auction (anyone 18 and older can come) and contributing to this small fundraising activity.

We ask families to donate $2 minimum per student (cash or check) to be sent to school the week of February 12-15. (However, we appreciate any amount that can be donated!) This is COMPLETELY OPTIONAL, but is a fantastic way to contribute to the Art Auction. These donations are used to offset the cost of art projects created by classes and students in all grades. During Show Your Love for Art week, the grades that collect the most money will win a grade appropriate prize (i.e. Free Dress Day, Reading Day, Hat Day, Movie, Etc.) So, check your couches and washing machines for spare change! Parents may also stop by the POET desk in the elementary and the office at the Jr. High to donate.

So get ready to SHOW YOUR LOVE FOR ART the week of February 12-15, 2018. If you have questions please contact Jennifer Nicholson at jnicholson@northdavisprep.org

ART AUCTION – APRIL 20, 2018 – TICKETS ON SALE NOW!

Tickets to the Art Auction or a donation to the school would make a great Valentines Day Gift! $25 per ticket gets you a lovely dinner and entrance to the greatest fundraising event ever! Buy tickets or donate here: https://ndpa.regtix.com

POET has chosen to make this event our largest fundraiser so our students don’t have to sell cookie dough, pizza, Wasatch Cards, or various other items door-to-door. This year we are raising money to purchase a security camera system for our buildings.

JR. HIGH YEARBOOK – Fellow Photographers!
We are in need of your Kodak moments for our yearbook!!
We would LOVE for you to share with us:

7th-9th STORYTELLING FIELD TRIP – Junior high students have the amazing opportunity to go see Weber State University’s Storytelling Festival at the Egyptian Theater on February 26, 2018 (all students, grades 7, 8, & 9). Keep an eye out for a field trip permission form from your student. Forms are due Tuesday, February 20.

HOW TO LOG VOLUNTEER HOURS – NDPA Families, have you submitted your Volunteer Application in our new Raptor system? Once you enter and submit your Volunteer Application, you will have access to your own portal to log hours for all the volunteers in your family. You will also be able back log those volunteer hours you have been keeping track of since the beginning of the school year. This is a VERY important step to complete as we need a total count of all family volunteer hours for many reasons, including: immersion applications, Spain Study Abroad, and the Volunteer Appreciation Party in June.

Please email Tierra, the Volunteer Coordinator at, tmcgonegal@northdavisprep.org for questions or issues
