NDPA OFFICE HOURS - Please note that the elementary office is currently closed. Please contact the Jr. High office, (801) 336-3601 with inquiries. Office hours are Monday-Thursday, 10:00 AM-2:00 PM, Friday 11:00 AM-2:00 PM. If you have specific needs for your student, please contact your homeroom or advisory teacher. If you cannot call during those times, please email, and we will make arrangements to contact you.

CONGRATULATIONS TO NDPA NUTRITION SERVICES for winning Best of State! You have probably noticed how hard they work to give students a nutritious, well-rounded lunch each day, and now they are getting the recognition they deserve. Thanks for all your hard work, NDPA cafeteria staff! See more information here:

LOGGING YOUR VOLUNTEER HOURS - As a POET board, we just wanted to send some clarifying guidelines for volunteer hours this year. We will not be counting volunteer hours after March 13, 2020. There are very few exceptions to this deadline. Please contact Stephanie Norton,, POET President or Lanette Rupert,, POET Volunteer Coordinator if you feel you have an exception, and your hours should be counted. Below is a list of volunteer hours that have been registered in Raptor as of March 13. Thanks for supporting our school! We have amazing volunteers! If we are able to hold our Volunteer Appreciation Party at the Roy Aquatic Center at the end of May, all those who volunteered, and their families, will be invited.

See the list here:

If you need to log hours that you had already completed prior to March 13, see the VOLUNTEER PORTAL link at the bottom of this newsletter.

NDPA IMMERSION LOTTERY - The Immersion Lottery for the 2020-2021 school year will be open May 1-15; we will send out an email with the link to apply by May 1. During the open lottery, you may enter your student's name to be selected by lottery for entrance into the Immersion program for the upcoming school year. Families will be notified before May 23 if their student's name has been selected.

RETURNING LIBRARY BOOKS - Currently all library books are due May 1, 2020. Please begin returning your library books for both buildings to the junior high building. Mrs. Zost will be located near the recycling bin in the junior high parking lot 11:00-12:30, Monday-Thursday, beginning Monday, April 20, 2020. Mrs. Zost will be available during that time with a paper list of checked out materials if you have questions. A return box is also located in the foyer of the junior high building where you may return books during office hours. On Monday, May 4, 2020, the library system will automatically send overdue notices to remind you about items you have checked out. We understand many books are in lockers, teachers’ classrooms etc., and are currently unavailable to you. These notices are simply a reminder of what you currently have checked out and no fines will be assessed. Many books will be returned to the library when the process of cleaning lockers and classrooms begins. Please contact Mrs. Zost at if you have any questions.
