APPLY NOW FOR POET VP - Would you like to have a positive impact at NDPA? Consider being Vice-President for our 2021-2022 POET Board. The duties of VP are: "The Vice President shall be a member of the POET board, and in the absence of the President, shall perform the duties of the President. The Vice President shall be an aide to the President and perform such duties as are assigned by the President or the POET Board. After serving one (1) term as Vice President, the Vice President shall automatically assume the office of the President the following year." In regards to "duties as assigned," currently the VP has been overseeing the Book Fairs, LEO nights, Barnes & Noble Day, the elementary marquee, and participating in the POET/Admin meetings. It is also beneficial for the VP to attend the POET sponsored events (Fun Run, FUNdraising Auction, Field Day, etc.)

From Karla Alpizar Veloz, current POET President: "I have loved working with all things POET and its board members. I will say without a doubt that the next POET VP will have a great opportunity to support the school, collaborate and learn along with Jennie Burbidge, the 2021-22 POET President. As a team, you will be able to leave a legacy of dedication and parent involvement for the good of NDPA. It truly is a pleasure to work with the talented individuals of the POET Board. Please let me know if you are interested by replying to Karla Alpizar "
