CASTING CALL: 2021-22 NDPA SCHOOL MUSICAL - AUDITIONS for NDPA's next musical production will be THIS Friday, May 21, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM for all Jr. High students, who are not currently in the musical classes, and 5th-6th grade students. There is a sheet on the wall across from the Jr. High office to sign-up for an audition slot. Please come prepared to sing 16-32 bars of any song you choose that shows off your voice the best (this is about 60 seconds of music). You may bring a minus track, an accompanist, or use a karaoke version on YouTube (just make sure you know where to find it). Come early to allow time to fill out a quick application before your audition time. There will not be call backs at this time—so make sure that you show personality and expression in your song. The first week of the class will be additional tryouts to cast the specific characters in the show.
The FINAL CAST LIST will be posted on the front door of the school Friday, May 21st after 8:00 pm.
- For Jr. High student, you will take a class during 2nd Semester. We will be rehearsing the show and learning performance techniques in voice, acting, & movement during this class time.
- Next year, 6th graders will be rehearsing after school on Fridays during February and March (exact schedule TBA).
- Additional after school/evening rehearsals will be required in April to put the whole show together.
- There is a required participation fee of $45.
- The musical will be performed May 4-7, 2022 (Pending administrative approval on the new calendar year.)

This program is separate from the school’s system, keepntrack. Volunteers will need to sign on to keepntrack for any onsite school activities.
How to get started:
1 - Submit a volunteer application online by following the link. You will need to provide your name and email. helpcounterweb.com/welcome/?en=270683085
2 - After submitting your application, watch for an approval email (check your junk folder). This email will have a link for creating a home access account. You can create your account online or on the app. (Search the app store for HelpCounter Home Access)
