NDPA ¡Que Pasa! August 10, 2022

Dear NDPA Families,
I for one have had a busy and enjoyable summer. Although it has been a scorcher! Fortunately for us, the school has great AC. We have been taking advantage of the “cool” conference room and have planned, organized, and prepared for a wonderful year. I hope all of you have found ways to enjoy some extra time with your kiddos. And we are looking forward to having them back!
Prep for this year has felt a bit more normal than the past couple of years. We are excited to continue to get things “back on track”. Many steps were taken last year, and we’ll take more steps this year.

Some big events are coming up. And we are so excited!

BACK-TO-SCHOOL:
WHO’S MY TEACHER? Your class assignments will be posted in Aspire the morning of August 11th, same day as our Back-to-School night event. Please check Aspire to see who your teacher is before coming to the school. Not sure how to login? Click here: https://northdavisprep.org/aspire_gradebook
Please note: students who have outstanding fees, have not registered, or did not return their computer from last year will not be able to see their schedule. Please come to the office for help in resolving any of these concerns.
FIRST-NINTH GRADES are invited to come between 5:00 – 8:00pm to meet your teachers, see your classrooms and catch up with friends.

7th-9th GRADERS ONLY: Be sure to wear a uniform shirt and comb your hair because we will be taking photos! You may want to review uniform expectations prior to school starting, https://northdavisprep.org/dress_code_policy

SPAIN TRIP MEETING will be held the same night as Back-to-School. This is only for current 9th grade students who have signed up to go to Spain in the Spring of 2023. The meeting will be in room #204 at the Jr. high building at 6:30pm. If you can’t make it to the meeting, please contact Mrs. Lovell.

KINDERGARTEN will have a slightly different schedule. For our youngest students, we will have a specific Back-to-School event on August 22nd from 5:00pm - 6:00pm. By then your child should have participated in the KEEP assessment for Kinder and we will have their teacher assignments ready. Your child’s meeting that night will be held in their teacher’s classroom.

FALL FIESTA is also just around the corner. Our first annual Fall Fiesta last year was FANTASTICA! So many people attended, and we are ready to do it again. You will not want to miss it. Save the date for September 16th. More information to come soon in our Que Pasa.
