LOTTERY ENROLLMENT

Open enrollment is here! NDPA is a state charter school with the number of applicants exceeding the number of openings. We handle this by accepting students via a lottery system. When a student is selected from the lottery pool, his or her siblings are given preference to other applicants; they are placed on a special sibling waiting list until openings are available.

If you applied for the 2022-2023 school year and your child has not been selected, you will need to re-apply for the 2023-2024 school year. Applications are not rolled over to the next school year. Every effort will be made to accept all siblings within an individual family, but this may not be possible due to capacity on class sizes.

CURRENT STUDENT REGISTRATION REMINDER

As you are aware, we are starting to gear up for the 2023-24 school year already. To do this well, we need an accurate account of how many students we will have attending our school next fall. We appreciate and value our current students and families and so we give you first chance to ensure your spot in our student body. We have an extensive waiting list but would love to continue our relationship with each of you.

To avoid delays and guarantee a spot for your student at our school we need a completed registration as soon as possible. Without an updated registration we won’t be able to assign a homeroom class to you student(s), we also can’t process any class requests and elective class choices, which unfortunately will also delay your schedules for the next school year.

Registrations are filled out and completed every year.

To complete your students registration please follow these steps or call either office at 801-336-3601.
Note: We recommend using a computer, not a mobile device, as there are several documents to review.

STEP 1: Click here for the Aspire Online Registration Link

  • this will take you to the login page. If you have created an Aspire account for NDPA in the past, please use your current login credentials.
    • If you have forgotten your Aspire password, you can click on the “forgot your password” link. Please be mindful as how many times you enter your password as the program will lock your account if you enter the incorrect password too many times.

STEP 2: Upon logging into your Aspire contact account, you will see a hyperlink above your student’s address that read “Can register for grade ….” that will take you to their online registration portal. If you are registering more than one student, you will need to complete this process for each of them.

EDUCATOR SPOTLIGHT - MRS. ROUNDY

With the help of The Utah Film Center, a non-profit organization, and the Utah State Board of Education Professional Outreach Programs in Schools (POP), Media Arts and Film Education has been brought to classrooms across the state. By participating in this program one of our teachers, Mrs. Roundy, learned to incorporate filmmaking into her classroom curriculum in addition to learning the technical components of filmmaking.

Congratulations Mrs Roundy! This knowledge will bring new learning opportunities to our NDPA students.
