SPAIN TRIP WELCOME BACK
Welcome back from Spain, students and staff! We hope you had a fun and informative trip, and we can't wait to hear all about it!
SPRING BREAK REMINDER
Spring Break is next week, April 3-7! Please be safe and have fun!
YEARBOOK COVER COMPETITION
We are having a school wide art contest to determine whose design will be chosen as the cover of our yearbook. Elementary school and Junior high will have separate competitions. All artwork must be turned in with a submission form you can find here: Yearbook Submission Form . All submissions are to be turned in to the FRONT OFFICE no later than this Friday MARCH 31st.
The time for yearbooks is coming up soon! We invite you all to preorder your yearbooks because we will have a VERY limited amount to sell for cash on the last day of school. In order to guarantee your child will have one, we highly encourage you to place your orders as soon as possible. The last day to preorder yearbooks will be Friday, April 14th.

UTAH SCHOOL CLIMATE SURVEY FROM THE UTAH STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION
The Utah State Board of Education wants to hear about your experience at NDPA (Utah Law R277-623).
We invite all parents, guardians, and caretakers to complete the NDPA School Climate Survey. Please submit your survey responses no later than May 4th, 2023. Students will participate in their classrooms in April.
The survey is completely confidential and brief, there are no right or wrong answers. Links will be sent out through Aspire on April 10th to the questions the Utah State Board of Education has provided to us. The survey links will also be made available on the website, Facebook, Instagram, and in Que Pasa.
We hope you will take the time to provide us with this information. All grouped results will be used to inform and develop strategies, procedures, and programs to enhance our school climate.
An opt-out form is also available here https://northdavisprep.sjc1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_4YMCZv8dzmKpAcS
or email Lanette Rupert @ email@example.com
Please submit your opt-out form before April 10, 2023.
Open enrollment is here! NDPA is a state charter school with the number of applicants exceeding the number of openings. We handle this by accepting students via a lottery system. When a student is selected from the lottery pool, his or her siblings are given preference to other applicants; they are placed on a special sibling waiting list until openings are available.
If you applied for the 2022-2023 school year and your child has not been selected, you will need to re-apply for the 2023-2024 school year. Applications are not rolled over to the next school year. Every effort will be made to accept all siblings within an individual family, but this may not be possible due to capacity on class sizes.

REMINDER FOR CURRENT STUDENT REGISTRATION FOR UPCOMING SCHOOL YEAR
As you are aware, we are starting to gear up for the 2023-24 school year. To do this well, we need an accurate account of how many students we will have attending our school next fall. We appreciate and value our current students and families and so we give you first chance to ensure your spot in our student body. We have an extensive waiting list but would love to continue our relationship with each of you.
To avoid delays and guarantee a spot for your student at our school we need a completed registration as soon as possible. Without an updated registration we won’t be able to assign a homeroom class to you student(s), we also can’t process any class requests and elective class choices, which unfortunately will also delay your schedules for the next school year.
Registrations are filled out and completed every year.
To complete your students registration please follow these steps or call either office at 801-336-3601.
Note: We recommend using a computer, not a mobile device, as there are several documents to review.
STEP 1: Click here for the Aspire Online Registration Link
- this will take you to the login page. If you have created an Aspire account for NDPA in the past, please use your current login credentials.
- If you have forgotten your Aspire password, you can click on the “forgot your password” link. Please be mindful as how many times you enter your password as the program will lock your account if you enter the incorrect password too many times.
STEP 2: Upon logging into your Aspire contact account, you will see a hyperlink above your student’s address that read “Can register for grade ….” that will take you to their online registration portal. If you are registering more than one student, you will need to complete this process for each of them.
