On April 19th, we are having a Nerf battle! It starts at 3:30 and ends at 4:30. At the end, you can keep whatever Nerf projectiles you clean up! Bring your own Nerf shooter. Nerf projectiles will be provided, so you don't need to bring your own. Bring your own goggles too. No shooting towards the face. A maximum of two Nerf shooters will be allowed per person, and you can only bring others if they are extras for a friend if the friend doesn't already have two shooters. You don't have to bring two shooters but you can if you want to. Only shooters that hold standard sized projectiles will be allowed. No automatics either, as they are unfair. We hope to see you there!

We invite all parents, guardians, and caretakers to complete the NDPA School Climate Survey. Please submit your survey responses no later than May 4th, 2023. Students will participate in their classrooms during the month of April.
The surveys are anonymous, completely confidential, and brief, there are no right or wrong answers. Below is the link to the adult survey, which is also available on the website, Facebook, Instagram, and in Que Pasa.
We hope you will take the time to provide us with this valuable input. All grouped results will be used to inform and develop strategies, procedures, and programs to enhance our school climate.
STUDENT DROP OFF AND PICK UP
We'd like to again remind you all of our traffic pattern to follow during drop off and pick up. Please be sure to be kind and courteous to other parents! Open enrollment is here! NDPA is a state charter school with the number of applicants exceeding the number of openings. We handle this by accepting students via a lottery system. When a student is selected from the lottery pool, his or her siblings are given preference to other applicants; they are placed on a special sibling waiting list until openings are available.
If you applied for the 2022-2023 school year and your child has not been selected, you will need to re-apply for the 2023-2024 school year. Applications are not rolled over to the next school year. Every effort will be made to accept all siblings within an individual family, but this may not be possible due to capacity on class sizes.

REMINDER FOR CURRENT STUDENT REGISTRATION FOR UPCOMING SCHOOL YEAR
As you are aware, we are starting to gear up for the 2023-24 school year. To do this well, we need an accurate account of how many students we will have attending our school next fall. We appreciate and value our current students and families and so we give you first chance to ensure your spot in our student body. We have an extensive waiting list but would love to continue our relationship with each of you.
To avoid delays and guarantee a spot for your student at our school we need a completed registration as soon as possible. Without an updated registration we won’t be able to assign a homeroom class to you student(s), we also can’t process any class requests and elective class choices, which unfortunately will also delay your schedules for the next school year.
Registrations are filled out and completed every year.
To complete your students registration please follow these steps or call either office at 801-336-3601.
Note: We recommend using a computer, not a mobile device, as there are several documents to review.
STEP 1: Click here for the Aspire Online Registration Link
- this will take you to the login page. If you have created an Aspire account for NDPA in the past, please use your current login credentials.
- If you have forgotten your Aspire password, you can click on the “forgot your password” link. Please be mindful as how many times you enter your password as the program will lock your account if you enter the incorrect password too many times.
STEP 2: Upon logging into your Aspire contact account, you will see a hyperlink above your student’s address that read “Can register for grade ….” that will take you to their online registration portal. If you are registering more than one student, you will need to complete this process for each of them.
Are you looking for a fun way to interact with the students at NDPA? Then join the kitchen staff! Email email@example.com if you are interested in applying!
