IMMERSION LOTTERY OPEN
Our Immersion Lottery is now open for applications! Current exposure students in grades K-5 are invited to apply. You may apply anytime between Monday, May 1st, and Monday, May 15th. Please fill out all fields correctly to ensure there are no problems when we draw names. (If your student is currently in the Immersion program, please do not fill out the survey.)
(Copy and paste link into a new tab, if not working)
Once the lottery closes, student names will be randomly selected according to the number of Immersion spots we currently have available in each grade. You will be notified by email shortly after the end of this school year. As we get closer to the new school year, and even after school starts, we often find out we have additional openings. We will draw from the lottery as openings occur and will notify you by email if your child's name is drawn.

POET Application for 2023-2024 School Year
CLASS CAPTAIN VOLUNTEERING
Want to volunteer, but can't always make it to the school? Sign up to be a Class Captain! We need Class Captains for the new school year. Class Captains are assigned to teachers in the elementary school. They volunteer from home and assist the teachers by sending emails to the parents. They may send out information regarding class trips, assignments, or any other help the teachers may need. It's a great way to be involved in your child's class. Please sign up using the link below. Class Captains will be chosen and notified in August. If you have any questions, please email Isabel Patterson at email@example.com Thank you!
STUDENT DROP OFF AND PICK UP
We'd like to again remind you all of our traffic patterns to follow during drop off and pick up. Please be sure to be kind and courteous to other parents! We recognize that mornings especially can feel rushed, but in order to ensure the safety of our students, we ask that you all treat other parents with respect & kindness.
Please visit our Contact Us page for our traffic pattern maps!
STUDENT CHECKOUT PROCEDURE
Parents, as a reminder, photo IDs are required when checking students out of school. We'd like to also remind you to check that your emergency and release contacts are up to date in order to avoid hiccups. Student safety is one of our top priorities, so we appreciate your cooperation!

The last day for Games Club will be Friday, May 12th.
Open enrollment is here! NDPA is a state charter school with the number of applicants exceeding the number of openings. We handle this by accepting students via a lottery system. When a student is selected from the lottery pool, his or her siblings are given preference to other applicants; they are placed on a special sibling waiting list until openings are available.
If you applied for the 2022-2023 school year and your child was not selected, you will need to re-apply for the 2023-2024 school year. Applications are not rolled over to the next school year. Every effort will be made to accept all siblings within an individual family, but this may not be possible due to capacity on class sizes.
