JUNIOR HIGH BACK TO SCHOOL & REGISTRATION NIGHT
NEW this year, back to school and registration combined!

– 7th Grade – 5:00 PM

We will begin each session with a General information review.

  • Come pick up your class SCHEDULE and fee assessment forms.
  • Meet and greet each of your student’s INSTRUCTORS.
  • Pay student fees and pre-order your YEARBOOK; NDPA PE SHIRTS will also be available for purchase.
  • PHOTOS for Jr. High ID will be in the library. All Jr. High Students should come dressed in uniform shirts and be prepared for their 2017-18 School Photo ID. This includes NDPA expectations for hair and other dress code requirements.
  • Visit one of the FOOD TRUCKS in the parking lot for a meal, snack, or drink!

All NEW FAMILIES joining our NDPA Family for the 2017-18 school year are encouraged to attend a meeting with Principal Robinson. He will review our school vision, cover student and parent expectations, and discuss policies regarding our school. This meeting is to help parents and students who are new to NDPA start off feeling informed and involved from day one.

K-6 BACK TO SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE
Thursday, August 10
4:00PM, 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM

This is an open house format; teachers will be making formal, 30 minute presentations about curriculum and expectations at 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM, and 6:00 PM.
– K-4th grades will meet in the K-4 Elementary Building @ 1765 Hill Field Rd.
– 5th-6th grades will meet in the 5-9 Building @ 1591 Hill Field Rd.

Come and meet your teachers, greet new and old friends, receive important classroom information, sign up for POET activities, committees, and classroom projects.

SCHOOL BEGINS
Wednesday, August 16, 2017
All students begin the 2017-18 School Year with a normal full day school schedule.

– AM Kindergarten should arrive by 8:25 AM and be picked up at 11:30 AM
– PM Kindergarten should arrive by 11:50 AM and be picked up by 3:00 PM
– 1st through 6th grade should arrive by 8:25 AM and be picked up by 3:00 PM
– Jr. High students should arrive by 8:10 AM and be picked up by 3:10 PM

    Approximately 25 hours a week
    Minimum qualifications:  clear a background check, high school diploma, previous experience working with school-aged children

  • Kitchen Assistant

    Maximum 20 hours per week
    Minimum qualifications:  clear a background check, must have food handlers permit. Knowledge of cooking/food preparation procedure a plus.

  • Substitute Teachers

    Substitute Teachers are put on a call list and must be available to work with short notice.
    Substitute Teachers are paid an hourly rate, based on education level.
