POET UNIFORM SALE – How did that shirt get too small? Where did that hole come from? What happened to your hoodie?! If you find yourself asking these questions then we have good news!

There will be a POET Uniform Sale on Monday, Jan 16, from 4:00-7:00 PM and Tuesday, Jan 17, from 10:00 AM- noon! Gently used uniforms (all items only $3) and used NDPA Hoodies ($5) will be available. We will be accepting uniform donations (clean and hole free), but at this sale we will only be selling POET owned clothes. Contact Kira, 801-368-7199, with any questions.

Then Yearbook Cover wants YOU!
This year, for K-6th Grade Yearbooks, we are changing things up…We are looking for 1-20 black & white doodles** on white paper, of any size, with anything you would like to see on the school’s yearbook cover.
**Preferably school-related doodles

  • Please include: Your Name, grade, and teacher on your submission.
  • ALL submissions need to be turned into the POET desk box no later than January 27th.

SCIENCE FAIR: JUDGES NEEDED – Judges needed for NDPA’s Annual Science Fair on January 25! Judges will be treated to a continental breakfast while being trained on how to score a project at 8:15 AM. Judging will be from 9:00–11:00 AM (or until are projects are judged). If you are interested, please contact Mrs. Adams at for more details or to sign up. ART AUCTION DONATIONS NEEDED – Donations Needed from YOU for our Annual Art Auction!

FIRST: Never been to NDPA’s Annual Art Auction or are you new to our school? Check out this short, informative video!

SECOND: We need YOUR help! The Art Auction relies on donations to raise money for our school. Do you own a business, work for a company that gives generously, or just want to give? We appreciate and accept it ALL!

Here are just a few ideas:

THIRD: Decoration donations wanted- We are looking for some items to take our Art Auction to the sea! Below is a list of items we are in search of. Please put donations in the designated box at the Elementary POET desk.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY – NDPA is looking for volunteers to help setup flags outside both schools on Thursday, February 2. This would require volunteers to be at the school @ 5:30 AM to get the flags setup before school starts. We also need volunteers to help take them down after school about 4:00 PM. This is a great way to get your volunteer hours in! If you can help, please sign up at this link.
