NDPA HOODIES ON SALE NOW – NDPA Hoodies on Sale Now! It’s getting colder and Christmas is coming, order your hoodie today! Pull over hoodie $18 and Zip hoodie $21. Youth and Adult sizes available. These “administration-approved” hoodies can be worn in class!

Sample hoodies and order forms will be in the lobby of each school from Monday, October 17, through Tuesday, November 1! Stop by the school and try on the samples before ordering, we cannot exchange if you order the wrong size. JR. HIGH HALLOWEEN DANCE – Junior high kiddos, are you ready to get your Monster Mash on? The junior high student government will be hosting a dance on Friday, October 28, from 1:30-3:00 PM. Feel free to wear a costume! No masks, please– it’s a school safety rule (but if you want to throw it on just for the costume contest, I’m sure that would be fine). See you there in your spooky wear! TURN IN YOUR BOX TOPS – It’s time to round up and turn in those Box Tops! The fall deadline for submitting Box Tops is coming up at the end of the month. Don’t hold onto them, many expire in October or November. You can submit your Box Tops at the POET desk of either building. Every Box Top earns money for NDPA–thank you for your participation!

Please make note, I have greatly reduced the information in this packet and hopefully made it more user friendly. Also a few things have changed from last year:

  • The science fair date is now the last Wednesday in January, January 25, 2017.
  • Also please note that set up will be on the same day as science fair so your students will bring their boards to the junior high gym on the same day as the fair.
  • Registration forms are now due in December before the break.

AFTER-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

AFTER-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES CODE OF CONDUCT: Registration for After-School Activities is voluntary and implies agreement that your student(s) will abide by the NDPA core values.

With emphasis on:

  • All interactions with teachers/volunteers, students and parents are based on honesty, trust and respect.
  • All students will demonstrate personal and social responsibility.

Additionally, it is agreed that all students will be picked up promptly at 4:00 PM.

  • AFTER-SCHOOL CHOIR – YOU CAN STILL JOIN!

    The first two weeks we learned songs for the Black Island Farm Carnival, so if you start on October 25 you will be learning all the songs for our future performances. We will perform on Nov. 14 at the Safe Harbor Evergreen Event, Nov. 19 at Barnes and Noble and Dec. 05 (tentative) for our friends and family. If you want to join: email dianadearden6@gmail.com your student’s NAME, GRADE, and PHONE NUMBER. Place $15 in the POET box.
  • YOUTH BAGPIPE BAND – 4th grade to age 17 welcome

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

SCIENCE OLYMPIAD COACHES STILL NEEDED! You don’t need to be an expert, just have a love of science and working with kids who really want to learn! It’s a lot of fun and should be about an hour a month of time commitment. If you’re interested please contact Mrs. Adams at: radams@northdavisprep.org for more details.
