Clint Heiner is excited to be on the NDPA Board of Directors. He loves the Spanish language and culture and looks forward to the opportunity to continue to help the school to be able to provide exceptional educational learning opportunities.

Clint Heiner was born and raised in Utah. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in New York City where he had the opportunity to learn and speak Spanish. He has a bachelor’s degree from Weber State University, where he minored in Spanish, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver. The highlight of his undergraduate experience was studying abroad in Spain for a month, where he grew to love the people and the culture even more.

After law school, he began practicing law in Maricopa County (Arizona) as a prosecutor. Clint has been a prosecutor since 2007 and he currently prosecutes for Salt Lake County. He has extensive training in many areas including the prosecution of child abuse and other special victims’ crimes. Frequently, Clint is called upon to teach attorneys, police officers, and others about these topics.

Clint is a member of the Utah Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice Violence Against Women Committee. He is also a member of the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys Child Abuse Prosecution Committee located out of Washington D.C.

Clint and his wife have three children that currently attend NDPA. In his free time, he enjoys reading, hiking, and coaching soccer. He also loves anything that involves his children and loves to see each of them be successful!
