R.O.A.R. Philosophy
Respect, Ownership, Achievement and Responsibility.
We intertwine R.O.A.R. in most things we do! When we talk about behaviors and social skills—just their general attitude—we refer to R.O.A.R. every time; it’s in our Policies & Procedures.
At recess, this is what our behavior looks like—we have a R.O.A.R. chart. Students get tickets and put their names on the ROAR chart and win prizes! We offer positive reinforcement for R.O.A.R. behavior.
We have expectations in recess, hallways, lunchroom, classrooms, everywhere.
